Wangjing West Subway Station is a ground-level subway station on the Beijing Subway's Line 13.

The station appears as a white building with bits of blue and yellow.

History

The subway station was completed in late 2002 and features an interchange station. The interchange is currently not in use, but it may come into use once Subway Line 15 has been completed.

Subway expansion plans through to 2015 show the station to serve as an interchange to Subway Line 15 or a branch line. The station was originally designed as an interchange station with the Subway Airport Line.

Geography

The station lies in the dead center of the Jingcheng Expressway; pedestrian bridges are used to bring passengers to and from the subway station. Currently, only the east bridge is open.
