Station diagram
Tiantongyuan North Subway Station is an above-ground subway station on the Beijing Subway's Line 5. The station is the northernmost station (and hence the northern terminus) on Line 5.

Tiantongyuan North station is so named as it is the northernmost station in the Tiantongyuan area. Its position north of Tiantongyuan Subway Station also earns it the "North" monikor. Previously, however, its once-planned name was Taipingzhuang North (地铁太平庄北站).

The station appears on the outside as a cinnamon building; inside, however, the main theme of the station is in the form of an oscillating blue wave.
