History
The station was built in early 2008 and has been opened to the public as of 14:00 on July 19, 2008. The Subway Line 6 part will open by 2012.
Geography
Hujialou Station is at the northern part of Jingguang Bridge. In its vicinity are also:

Architecture
Hujialou station consists of three exits taking the form of boxes which are mostly made up of glass; up to two (at least one) have been built into neighboring buildings. The boxes are enclosed in grey outlines.
Interior
Hujialou station has two underground levels, with the platform on the lower level. Underground Level 1 is a through hall; passengers from Underground Level 2 can take any staircase or elevator to reach all exits on the upper level.
The station is supported by two rows of thin white columns (each per split side platform) at platform level.
