History
The former name of this station in earlier plans was Longbeicun station (地铁龙背村站); however, the name was changed since Longbeicun Village no longer exists as a significant settlement.
The station was built in late 2008 and will open along with Line 4 on September 28, 2009.
Geography
Anheqiao North Station is at Anheqiao, near Tianxiu Road. It is somewhat hidden away and is east of a nearby river or canal. In its vicinity are also:
